What a wedding photographer costs for a wedding in Graz.

The collections are the same as everywhere we work — what changes here is the drive south and the mix of city and vineyard venues.

A wedding photographer for Graz costs 1,490 euro for a half day, 2,490 for a full day, 3,990 for twelve hours, the same collections as everywhere else we cover, plus VAT and the travel figure for Graz. Photography and film are two separate people and two separate prices — book both for a full day and it is 4,980 euro together, because it is genuinely two people working the day, not one person doing two jobs.

Graz sits far enough south that the drive from Salzburg is a real one — around 280 kilometre each way, mostly on the A9 Pyhrn Autobahn, which climbs through the Gleinalm and Bosruck tunnels rather than staying on flat ground the whole way. The city itself is compact and walkable, with the Schlossberg and the old town giving an easy in-town backdrop, but a fair number of the weddings we shoot around Graz actually happen outside it, in the vineyard hills of Südsteiermark to the south, where the terraced slopes photograph very differently to the flat river terrain of the city centre.

Travel to Graz is 280 euro, calculated on the actual round trip from our base in Salzburg — about 280 kilometre each way, mostly via the A9 Pyhrn Autobahn. That figure is fixed once quoted and does not change with traffic or route.

These are final prices. No VAT is added — this is a registered Austrian small business (Kleinunternehmer, §6 Abs 1 Z 27 UStG).

Weddings in Graz

Graz weddings we cover split between the old town — the Schlossberg, the Hauptplatz, the riverside along the Mur — and the vineyard country of Südsteiermark just south of the city, where hillside wineries give a very different backdrop to the flat urban core. Autumn is a particularly good season here: the Südsteiermark wine harvest gives the vine rows colour that the Salzkammergut lakes simply do not have.

Cost questions, answered

The same collections as everywhere we cover: 1,490 euro for a half day, 2,490 for a full day, 3,990 for twelve hours, plus VAT and 280 euro travel from Salzburg. Photography and film are staffed and priced as two separate people.

Yes — 280 euro, calculated on the actual round trip from our base in Salzburg, roughly 280 kilometre each way mostly via the A9 Pyhrn Autobahn. It is fixed at the time of quoting.

Yes, and it is a genuinely different look from the old town — the terraced vine rows south of Graz give a hillside backdrop the flat city centre cannot, and autumn during harvest is a particularly strong time to shoot there.

Nine to fourteen months is typical, the same as the rest of Austria. Autumn Saturdays during the Südsteiermark wine harvest are a smaller but genuinely competitive window, so book that specific slot earlier than a generic summer date.
